Australia have been embarrassed on day one of the fourth Test at Trent Bridge as England effectively sealed the Ashes series.
Stuart Broad took 8-15, the third best figures ever by an English bowler, as the Aussies were destroyed for just 60 runs.
Broad passed 300 wickets and equalled the fastest Test five-wicket haul – which took just 19 deliveries.
The Australian batsmen lasted a mere 111 balls, the shortest first innings in Test history as extras top-scored with 14 runs, the first time that's happened in Ashes history.
Brilliant batsman Joe Root finished the day on 124 not out as England reached 274 for 4 at stumps, for a massive lead of 214 runs
