Auckland's response to the All Blacks' Rugby World Cup (RWC) win has been "amazing", says retiring player Keven Mealamu.
The champion team became back-to-back RWC winners after their 34-17 victory over Australia in the final at Twickenham on Sunday.
Thousands turned out in central Auckland today to celebrate the win and support the team.
"We weren't too sure what was going to be here so the day's turned out really nice so it's good to see everyone - it's amazing," says Mealamu.
"We worked really hard to bring the Cup home, now we get a chance to share it with everyone."
