Jesse Bromwich, Tohu Harris and Jason Taumalolo have been announced as the finalists for Kiwis Player of the Year.

Bromwich won the award in 2015 but will face stiff opposition from Harris and Taumalolo who have both come on in leaps and bounds for their respective club and for the Kiwis in 2016.

Taumalolo has become widely thought of as the best lock in the NRL which was reinforced by being named joint Dally M winner alongside Bromwich's Melbourne teammate Cooper Cronk.

Meanwhile, Harris has made himself a stable of the Kiwis backline, enjoying consistent time across three positions, centre, five-eighth and second row.

However, it hasn't been a bad year for Bromwich at all with the 27-year-old being named Kiwis captain while also receiving the Melbourne Storm's Player of the Year and Dally M Prop of the Year awards

Canberra wing Jordan Rapana, club-mate Joseph Tapine and NZ Warriors centre Solomone Kata face off for the Kiwis Rookie of the Year award

The winners will be announced at a New Zealand Rugby League ceremony in Auckland on January 20.
