Manchester United's come-from-behind win prompts Usain Bolt phone call

Manchester United's come-from-behind win against Middlesbrough in the English Premier League on New Year's Day (NZ time) was so good, the fastest man alive Usain Bolt called the club's television channel to express his approval.

United were one goal down with 10 minutes to go before scoring twice within 90 seconds through Anthony Martial and then French superstar Paul Pogba.

And Usain Bolt, a famous Manchester United fan, called in to say just how proud he was.

"They really came through… They pushed on, they persevered, the Manchester United way", Bolt said.

"It was a great match, I'm really happy."

Stunning the presenters of the show, they look slightly unconvinced that it is actually Usain Bolt before the main host eventually tries to get more out of the triple Olympic gold medallist.
