Highlights: Blackcaps pull off miraculous nine-wicket win over Bangladesh

New Zealand has pulled off a stunning nine-wicket win over Bangladesh inside four days at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, chasing down 109 to win in the final session.

With the hosts bowled out for 354 before lunch, New Zealand quickly got into their work against Bangladesh who this time struggled to keep the Blackcaps bowlers at bay.

Set 109 for victory in the final session, both Blackcaps openers Jeet Raval and Tom Latham chased quick runs, taking the score to 56 before Raval played on for a pacey 33 including four boundaries.

Demonstrating their desire for the match to be finished today, Colin de Grandhomme was sent out to bat instead of Kane Williamson with the Blackcaps hoping some lusty hitting from the Zimbabwean all-rounder would finish it off.

De Grandhomme went hard from the outset, taking Shakib Al Hasan over square twice before finishing it with two sixes off consecutive balls from spinner Nazmul Hossain Shanto.

De Grandhomme finished with 33 off 15 balls including four sixes while Latham finished on 49 with six boundaries and one six.

The win sees the Blackcaps move up to fifth on the ICC Test rankings.
