Highlights: Steven Adams return helps Oklahoma City Thunder overcome the Utah Jazz

Steven Adams has helped the Oklahoma City Thunder snap a two-game losing streak with a 97-95 road victory over the Utah Jazz.

Out for two matches with concussion after a fall in the Thunder's win over the Sacramento Kings, Adams' physicality and his defensive work was a welcome addition after they'd been humbled first by the Los Angeles Clippers and then the Golden State Warriors.

Registering nine points, one assist and six rebounds, it was a solid if not spectacular return for the Kiwi with the Thunder's main man Russell Westbrook hitting yet another triple double with a game high 38 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The win sees the Thunder's record go to 26 wins, 19 losses and remain one spot behind the Jazz on the Western Conference standings.

They now head to New Orleans who, without their All Star Anthony Davis, recorded one of the biggest upsets of the season with a 124-122 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Davis was ruled out of the match with a right quad injury and is in doubt for the Thunder match on Thursday (NZ time).
