Eastern European nation Georgia might get a slight taste of what it's like to be in the Six Nations after it was announced they'll play Wales at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in November.

They will be alongside very big company during the November internationals with their Test wedged in between Wales' Tests against the All Blacks, Australia and South Africa.

Georgia have consistently pushed for inclusion into Europe's Six Nations tournament, whether it be in the place of perennial underdogs Italy or an expansion of the tournament, after rising the World Rugby rankings to 12th, two spots above Italy in 14th and just below Japan.

Their rise comes after their domination in the Rugby Europe Championship, a tournament comprised of second tier European rugby nations, which they have won in six successive seasons.

They have also recently recorded wins of Tonga and Fiji whilst also drawing against Samoa.

Rugby is one of the most popular sports in the country, with crowds of over 50,000 people having turned out in Tbilsi to watch the national team in action.

Georgia has already secured a berth in the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan after finishing third in their group at the tournament in 2015.
