The Wellington Phoenix's hunt for a new coach appears to be well underway with reports from across the Tasman that the club has made an offer for England's Stuart Pearce.
News site Adelaidenow.com believes the Phoenix are among a multitude of A-League teams who have made a bid for the former England international's services.
A veteran of over 400 appearances for Nottingham Forest, Pearce has undergone coaching stints with Manchester City and the England U-21s, as well as a brief spell with the England top side on a caretaker basis.
His last coaching role was with his former Nottingham Forest club in 2015.
