Former All Blacks winger Lelia Masaga will link up with Chiefs coach Dave Rennie at the Glasgow Warriors after signing a two-year deal with the club.

The 30-year old has won two Super Rugby titles with the Chiefs in 2012 and 2013 and had a stint playing for the Honda Heat club in Japan.

"I'm excited to be joining my new club Glasgow Warriors," said Masaga

"I'm looking forward to being there under Dave Rennie as head coach, to be part of a great team of players and to meet all the fans who support the club.

"I can't wait to start this new journey in Scotland."

Masaga is currently in New Zealand with the Chiefs wider training squad.

Warriors' assistant coach Jason O'Halloran believes Masaga's relationship with Dave Rennie will be key.

"He knows Dave (Rennie) well through their time together at the Chiefs and will be an excellent addition to our squad."

Masaga made his Chiefs debut in 2006 and scored 38 tries in 91 games.

The speedy winger will form a deadly back-three with Scotland internationals Stuart Hogg and Tommy Seymour.
