Eddie Jones has added another New Zealand-born player to his training squad for England's upcoming Argentina series in former Crusader Willi Heinz.

The 30-year-old Heinz joins fellow New Zealanders Jason Woodward and league Denny Solomona in the 26-man training squad.

Without the services of players from England's four biggest clubs Saracens, Exeter, Wasps and Leicester, the training squad gives Jones an opportunity to survey the options who mightn't initially make the first team.

Heinz played for the Crusaders up until the end of 2015 season before heading to play for Gloucester in England's top tier.

Born in Christchurch, Heinz qualifies through having an English grandmother.

He's another shrewd selection from Jones who, through his selections, has already shown an appreciation for players developed in New Zealand.
