English Championship side Leeds United have put a lofty price on the head of their marquee Kiwi striker Chris Wood.

The Yorkshire club has valued Wood at £20 million ($NZ35 million), according to reports out of England Thursday morning (NZT).

Rumours of a potential shift to a Premier League squad have been swirling since his star turn with the team last season, but Leeds are adamant his services won’t come cheaply.

The All Whites captain was the top scorer in the second division Championship last season, hitting the target 27 times.

The 25-year-old has attracted interest from a number of top flight clubs during the off-season to dates, including the the likes of Southampton, Stoke City and Swansea.
