Kiwi basketballer Tai Webster's made the most of some solid game time for the Golden State Warriors at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Starting for the NBA Champions against the LA Clippers in the tournament which teams use to test their rookies as well as get a gauge on the skill level of some fringe NBA players, Webster was busy from the outset, dropping the Warriors' first basket on their way to a 109-100 win.

The 22-year-old - who went undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft - went on to record 12 points, shooting six from 10 field goals, with one assist and one block.

His older brother, former Breakers guard Corey, recorded his best performance at the NBA Summer League on Friday, making eight points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals from his 21 minutes on the court for his team the Dallas Mavericks.
