Kiwi goal-scoring machine Chris Wood is Premier League-bound.

The Leeds striker has reportedly agreed to a £15 million ($NZ26.3m) deal to join Burnley, according to UK publication The Mirror.

The Clarets have been aggressively pursuing the 25-year-old, with this their attempt at winning his signature since boss Sean Dyche set his sights on him after losing first choice striker Andre Gray.

Earlier on Saturday (NZT) it had been reported that Leeds had tabled a mammoth three-year extension offer for Wood in a last ditch attempt to secure his services.

However, by all accounts, Wood has been eager for some time to make a shift into the top flight of English football.

The All White netted 30 goals to finish as the Championship's top goal-scorer for 2016/17.
