Brighton crush woeful West Ham 3-0 in London

Brighton and Hove Albion have crushed West Ham 3-0 on their home turn at London Stadium on Saturday morning (NZ time) which has put manager Slaven Bilic under serious pressure to keep his job.

The Hammers dominated the match taking 16 shots, but only two were on target while having 65 percent possession.

Bilic cut a forlorn figure throughout the 90-minutes and is now unlikely to last out the weekend as manager.

The Seagulls scored after 10 minutes when the unmarked Glenn Murray headed in Pascal Gross' free-kick, his first Premier League goal since 2015.

Then right before halftime, Jose Izquierdo scored a cracking goal, curling the ball past Joe Hart to extend the lead.

Murray scored his second from the penalty spot in the 75th minute after he was fouled by Pablo Zabaleta to secure Brighton their first-ever EPL away win.

With the loss, West ham drops to 17th place in the table, two points above the relegation zone.

All Whites and West Ham defender Winston Reid did get a knock late in tha match after a collision, but managed to finish the match which is a positive for national coach Anthony Hudson.
