Jerome Kaino's agent Craig Innes has confirmed to Newshub the 81-Test flanker is being chased by French glamour club Toulon.
Innes said Toulon is "one of a number of clubs" who've enquired about Kaino's availability.
Respected sports publication Midi Olympique is reporting Kaino will link-up with the French side following next season's Super Rugby campaign with the Blues.
They claim 34-year-old is being lined up as a replacement for South African flanker Duane Vermeulen who is believed to be heading back to the Stormers.
The two-time World Cup winner has found himself on the outer with the All Blacks through the international season in 2018, struggling to recapture his starting spot after taking a break to deal with some personal issues.
With a host of young talent lead by Vaea Fifita and Liam Squire now vying for his No. 6 jersey, a move north to Europe would seem well-timed.
The Toulon squad already includes a couple of New Zealanders in Kaino's former All Blacks teammates Malakai Fekitoa and Ma'a Nonu, while Luke McAlister and Alby Mathewson are also contracted to the club.
