Cody Harris, Warren Parry to represent New Zealand at World Cup of Darts

Kiwi darts players Cody Harris and Warren Parry have been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2018 World Cup of Darts in Germany.

The pair will don the silver fern and compete against 31 other nations in Frankfurt, with £300,000 (NZ$581,169) of prize money up for grabs.

Harris and Parry competed together at the 2016 World Cup, where they lost to Gary Anderson and Robert Thornton 5-3 in the first round.

This will be the third time Harris has represented New Zealand, while this will be the fourth time Parry has competed at the event.

New Zealand has only made it out of the first round once, back in 2015 when they beat 11th-ranked Canada 5-4.

The Netherlands are the defending champions, beating Wales 3-1 in last year's final.

The competition runs from June 1 and ends on June 3 (NZ time).
