Hooker Issac Luke will miss the next four weeks of NRL action with injury, the Warriors have confirmed.

The veteran forward left the field after just 16 minutes of the side's heavy defeat to the Melbourne Storm on Anzac day.

The knee injury will likely see him sidelined until the Warriors' round 12 clash against his former club, the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

It's a cruel blow for the 30-year-old who's been one of the resurgent Warriors' best through the season to date, recapturing some of the form which saw him recognised as one of the game's premier rakes just a few years ago.

Jazz Tevaga should slot into Luke's No. 9 jersey for the clash with the Wests Tigers on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the club will welcome back a few key players from injury absences, with Shaun Johnson, Tohu Harris and Solomone Kata all on track to return to Mt. Smart this weekend.
