New footage has emerged from Saturday’s plane crash in Russia which killed 62 people.

The FlyDubai flight had already unsuccessfully attempted one landing before circling the airport for two hours.

It was on their second attempt to land at Rostov-on-Don that the plane smashed into the ground just short of the runway.

New video posted online overnight appears to show the Boeing 737 coming down at a much steeper angle than what would be standard for a landing approach, raising speculation that the aircraft may have stalled.

The captain had 5900 hours of flying experience, the first officer 5700 hours.

Investigation teams from Russia, Dubai and the United States are at the scene of the crash trying to determine a cause.

The aircraft's black boxes have been found but were extensively damaged.
