Footage has emerged from Canada of a car precariously balanced on the side of a steep cliff.
The 20-year-old woman female driver is in hospital with serious injuries after she ploughed through a carpark gate at the top of Signal Hill cliff in Newfoundland.
The woman was thrown a further 20 metres from the car when it crashed.
Police could be seen responding to the incident and told media they had earlier received reports of suspicious driving in the area.
The local fire department removed the car from the side of the cliff face.
It was removed as quickly as possible thanks to the precarious location and high winds on the cliff.
