A man who sports terrifying tattoos like the Joker from Batman has been arrested for allegedly pointing a loaded gun at motorists.
Miami police arrested Lawrence Patrick Sullivan on Tuesday night (local time), after they found him waving a handgun at passing cars.
Sullivan sports similar face tattoos to the dark night villain, and has dyed his hair to appear the same.
Sullivan told his arresting officer: "I don't have a permit 'cause it's too expensive," the Express reports.
The self-described "tattoo model", is being held on an NZD$7000 bond.
Sullivan's sister, who did not want to be named, told local media: "I don't believe he was waving a gun around in traffic, he wouldn't do that. Yes he had a gun, but he wouldn't wave it around.
"He's a character; he's just playing a character. I warned him that people would take it the wrong way."
Australian actor Heath Ledger famously played the Joker in the 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight. More recently Jared Leto has taken on the role for the new Suicide Squad movies.
