A Virginia woman has become an internet sensation after being photographed cycling alongside US President Donald Trump's motorcade, giving him the finger.
The snap was taken on Saturday as the President's car left his golf club near the Potomac River, on its way back to Washington, DC.
According to a White House report, Mr Trump "departed the Trump National Golf Club at 3:12pm, passing two pedestrians, one of whom gave a thumbs-down sign. Then it overtook a female cyclist, wearing a white top and cycling helmet, who responded by giving the middle finger."
Soon afterwards the motorcade slowed, allowing the cyclist to catch up. Once again, she flipped the President the bird.
The Washington Post, which has broken many of the scandals surrounding Mr Trump's presidency, said she'd "entered the annals of presidential protests" alongside a man who threw an egg and Bill Clinton and the Iraqi who threw a shoe at George W Bush.
It's not clear if Mr Trump saw the obscene gesture. The woman's identity remains a mystery.
The NBC News/Wall Street Journal latest survey has his disapproval at 60 percent, a record low for any modern US President.
