One person has died in a large house fire in Feilding on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Fitzroy St at around 7:50pm this evening.
Seven fire trucks remain at the scene along with police, St Johns and specialist support crews.
The fire service is still working to contain the blaze and says the house has been significantly destroyed.
