WorkSafe NZ is investigating after a 10-year-old boy was run over by a moving water tanker in north Canterbury.
The child suffered serious injuries in the incident at the Fernside horse training track yesterday afternoon around 2:30pm.
He's believed to have been playing on the tanker when he fell under the rear wheels.
The boy remains in serious, but stable condition in intensive care.
