Two men, who were allegedly involved in trafficking people into New Zealand, are set to appear in court.

Faroz Ali is accused of charging people large sums of money for the opportunity to work here.

Jafar Kurisi allegedly exploited illegal migrant workers by paying them less than the minimum wage and providing poor accommodation and food.

The duo's pre-trial hearing will be held at the High Court in Auckland today.
