The aviation workers' strike that threatened to cause havoc in the school holidays is off.
The Aviation Security Service reached an agreement with the Public Service Association and E Tu unions following all-day mediation today.
The unions have subsequently withdrawn their planned strike action that was supposed to start next Wednesday.
Management has also withdrawn its lockout notice as a result and a pay offer is being worked out with members over the next four weeks.
Neither the Aviation Security Service nor the unions will say anything further until 11am tomorrow.
