Firefighters are carrying out a search of an Auckland highrise after a fire prompted a huge response.
More than 70 firefighters were called to the blaze at the nine-storey tertiary education building on Hobson Street.
The fire was quickly contained but left full of smoke.
Firefighters were evacuating the building floor-by-floor.
No injuries were reported.
