A car has been located and recovered following the shooting of a 14-year-old boy in Hamilton on June 16.
Waikato police appealed for information on Friday and as a result were able to locate and recover a vehicle believed to be used during the incident on Norrie St.
Police have since completed a forensic examination of the vehicle.
The shooting was one of three similar incidents on the street in the same week. The teenager in question was treated for minor injuries.
