What police believe is a gang-related Northland shooting has left one man in hospital.
At 4:30am this morning shots were fired from a car driving outside a Kaitaia address.
A 26-year-old man standing outside received gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Whangarei Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition, police say.
Police are investigating the incident, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
