Lecretia Seales' husband has paid a moving tribute to her at her funeral in Wellington.
The right-to-die lawyer lost her battle to brain cancer just after 12am last Friday, after fighting for the right to end her life through the means of assisted suicide without the risk of criminal charges.

Matt Vickers struggled to get through his tribute this afternoon, describing his late wife as a "selfless person".
He revealed that up until two weeks ago Ms Seales had been planning her year ahead, including a trip to India and attending her mother's 60th birthday.
He says he still hasn't come to terms with her death and feels numb and confused.
Ms Seales will be laid to rest in Tauranga.
