Police have confirmed the name of the man who died after his vehicle became submerged in water in Bluff.
51-year-old Morrell Mark McKenzie, managing director of McKenzie Marine and Mackraft company, died after being trapped in his truck which entered the water at Bluff Wharf.
Police were called to the incident around 1:30pm yesterday and divers located him trapped inside.
Worksafe New Zealand is investigating the incident.
The man's family are being supported by police.
