A chemical spill at a medical centre on Auckland's North Shore has seen nine people rushed to hospital.
The Dodson Medical Centre in the suburb of Milford has since been evacuated, with firefighters donning chemical splash suits to ensure safe entry into the premises.
Two of those who were treated came into contact with the chemical.

Eight people have been taken to hospital with concerns over a tightness of chest, while one other endured chemical burns to their hands.
It is unclear at this stage how the spill occured.
