Police: Dunedin driver made 'inappropriate' comments to school student

Police in Dunedin are appealing for help from the public to identify a driver who allegedly made inappropriate comments to a Fairfield School student yesterday afternoon.

The man is described as a clean-shaven Caucasian in his 20s, with dark hair, which is shaven at the sides and longer on top.

His car is a light blue, four-door hatchback with black seats or seat covers, with wind-up -- not electric -- windows.

There will be a police presence around the school in the coming days, and students who are approached by anyone suspicious are urged to tell a parent or teacher as soon as possible.
