A repeat drink-driver in Christchurch will today be sentenced on other alcohol-related charges.

54-year-old Lynda Cameron will be sentenced at the Christchurch District Court this afternoon on two charges of breaching home detention.

Cameron has already admitted drinking on October 2 and 4, in breach of her detention conditions.

She received the 12 month home detention after being caught driving with an alcohol level of 1910mcg per litre of breath on April 16 last year, and 1470mcg just three days later. The legal limit is 400mcg.

The sentencing judge at the time told the court it was the highest blood-alcohol level he had seen in his 20 years as a judge, saying it would have killed most people.

Cameron has been remanded on bail since October on the charges and has been attending a residential rehabilitation court.
