South Auckland police are investigating a hit and run incident involving a car and a pedestrian in Highland Park, Pakuranga overnight.
The incident occurred on Aviemore Dr, near the Bradbury Rd intersection around 9pm, and a woman who was walking her bike is in a serious condition at Middlemore Hospital. Witnesses of the crash have described the offending vehicle as being a white four-wheel-drive.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating, and police are asking the public who may know information regarding the incident to come forward.
