A jury has found a Taranaki farmer guilty of re-routing a stream on his property without the authority to do so.
Colin Boyd faced a number of charges under the Resource Management Act.
The Crown argued changes to the existing path of the stream affected the environment and wildlife.
Boyd claimed alterations to the stream happened naturally after heavy rain.
He'll be sentenced in August.
