The Prime Minister's prospective coalition partners have continued to shoot themselves in the foot this week.

John Banks stood down as ACT Party leader yesterday after the High Court ruled he must stand trial on electoral fraud charges, while conservative leader Colin Craig's voiced doubts about the moon landings.

So is there any word on who might replace Banks? Could it be former leader Rodney Hide?

And is the National Party still seriously considering teaming up with Mr Craig at the next election? Or are his views on space exploration, chemtrails, unisex toilets and climate change a little too out there?
