Football jerseys are always a contentious issue when it comes to colour and design, and very few please everyone.
With just over two months until the Auckland Nines kick off, the teams have unveiled the jerseys the players will wear at the two-day tournament.
And there is a whole lot of colour.
The way the teams have approached the jersey design is epitomised by the Broncos, who have released what must be their most vibrant jersey to date.
The jersey, part-designed by Alex Glenn and Jordan Kahu, has a strong Polynesian theme to it.
"It took me a few looks to get used to, but it's definitely grown on me," said Broncos and Kiwis forward Alex Glenn.
"We're just having a bit of fun with this jersey. Obviously the Auckland Nines is all about having fun that weekend, so we thought we'd have a bit of fun with the jersey."
