Crusaders winger Nemani Nadolo has copped a four-week ban for his lifting tackle on Tomas Cubelli in their 40-14 win over the Brumbies.

The Fijian winger lifted Cubelli and dropped him on his head just before halftime on Sunday. He pleaded guilty to the charge.

"I took into account as mitigating factors the player's disciplinary record after a lengthy professional career, his guilty plea and the fact that the tackle was reckless rather than deliberate," SANZAAR judicial officer Chris Morris said.

Nadolo is suspended from all rugby until May 21, ruling him out of the Crusaders' next three matches against the Reds, Highlanders and Waratahs.

The Crusaders have a bye this weekend.
