10. Burnley - They'll sneak onto this list with a 2-1 win over Everton, who - along with Manchester United - have plummeted out of the top ten.

9. Leicester City - The defending champions have not performed well this year, but flexed some muscle in their 3-1 win over Crystal Palace. It meant they've gone 20 league matches at home unbeaten, a very good streak.

8. West Ham - Winston Reid's stunning strike in the dying stages of their match with Swansea leading the Hammers to a 1-0 win. It's their second straight after a woeful start to the season.

7. Bournemouth - Their 0-0 draw with Spurs makes it four matches unbeaten. More importantly, they have a frighteningly symmetrical record, sitting tenth on the ladder, with three wins, three draws, three losses, 12 goals scored, 12 goals conceded and 12 points.

6. Manchester City - Just two points in their last three matches, yet the Citizens still sit top of the ladder. Says a lot about their start, but Pep Guardiola will need to find answers quickly.

5. Southampton - For a club like this, a 1-1 draw with Manchester City is a really good result. Moreover, it extends their unbeaten run to five matches, also a really good result.

4. Tottenham - Spurs' watertight defence continued against Bournemouth, a 0-0 draw meaning they've conceded just four goals in nine matches. It means they're unbeaten but their faltering attack has them sitting fourth.

3. Arsenal - A 0-0 draw is hardly an impressive result, especially against lowly Middlesbrough, but it's off the back of a six game winning streak and they are still equal top, so sit third on the Power Rankings.

2. Liverpool - A remarkable stat - Liverpool and Chelsea were the only two sides to win in the top half of the table. A gritty 2-1 win over West Brom made it five wins from six for Jurgen Klopp's side. I am a big fan of him as a manager and it's terrific to see him having success.

1. Chelsea - A 4-0 rout of Manchester United, but more importantly for them, a 4-0 rout of Jose Mourinho. Easily the performance of the round and easily deserving of top spot on the Power Rankings. Three wins on the bounce and the Blues are climbing back up the table.
