The Silver Ferns have made a perfect start to their Fast5 Netball World Series title defence, remaining unbeaten after two victories last night and a 48-18 win over Malawi this afternoon.
Last night Maria Tutaia wowed the crowd with her long range shots, turning three pointers into six during the Ferns' third quarter power play.
As the sunshine girls were handed a Fast5 lesson 43–22, the Ferns then waltzed into their game against Australia.
But after trailing 8-3 after the first quarter, their long bomb star stepped up.
The Australian Flyers wasted their power play in the third quarter scoring only two points, but the Ferns didn't make the same mistake.
Australia was humbled 39- 26, but the Fast5 Ferns still have a tough night ahead facing South Africa, then England.
