Tonga were seen as the perfect warm up for a group stage including Fiji and Samoa.

The crowd were treated to a strong performance by the New Zealand youngsters and a masterclass by Wellington born winger Julian Savea.

Savea scored four tries and his style has a Jonah Lomu look about it.

And the comparison dosen't stop there while Lomu first turned heads playing in the 1994 Hong Kong Sevens, Savea debuted for Gordon Titjens team last year in Adelaide.

Then a decision to make - sevens rugby or the fifteen man game.

However it hasn't only been Jonah but another great winger who's influenced the 19-year-old on the wing.

“Yeah Jeff Wilson helped me lot, extra tools to work on,” says Savea.

Savea spearheads an under 20's attack that is looking to claim New Zealand's third junior world championship in as many years

With the tournament seen as a springboard for future All Blacks Julian Savea could be a name to remember.
