The Wellington Phoenix are offering free tickets for their final game of the A-League season on Sunday.

With the club well out of the playoff race, the Phoenix are looking to send off long serving defenders Manny Muscat and Ben Sigmund in style against the Western Sydney Wanderers at Westpac Stadium.

Tickets will be free for those that book online on Thursday and Friday with general manager David Dome saying they wanted to thank the fans for their support this season.

"The last Nix game for Manny Muscat and the retirement of Ben Sigmund is something we really wanted to mark with something special that we haven't done before – these are two great servants of the club and we want them to be fare welled in style" Dome said.

"Plus it's been a tough season for the club on and off the field with the licence drama, but we've come through it and we really wanted to acknowledge all the support we've had from fans.

"I know for the players and staff that Ben and Manny's last game will be very emotional for us all – it's really important to all of us that they have the biggest possible crowd to acknowledge how important they have been for the club."

From 6am on April 7 to 6pm on April 8, tickets to the Phoenix' last home game of the season will be free if ordered online through Ticketek.

Fans will also not have to pay a booking fee if they select an ezy-ticket and use the password 'Siggy'.

Free tickets will be limited to 1800 in acknowledgement of Ben Sigmund's squad number.
