Veteran striker Rory Fallon claims he's happy to help the squad in any capacity as the All Whites prepare for their crucial OFC Third Round Qualifiers against New Caledonia.

Fallon, who currently plays in the sixth tier of English football for Truro City, headed home the goal to secure New Zealand's qualification for the 2010 World Cup finals.

The 34-year-old says he's just happy to be around the squad.

"It's been great to see the boys and get back into it again for the next chapter of our World Cup journey," says Fallon.

"I'm the old boy [and will do] whatever [Hudson] wants from me. Whether I mentor the lads, whether I'm on the bench or whether I play.

"I've been in the game long enough for [Hudson] to know I won't give him much hassle. Whatever job he wants from me, I'll get it done."

Fallon also says he felt like the squad was getting better the more time they spent together.

"The squad is very good and we've seen step by step that we're getting better and better. We proved that against Mexico and America."

Fellow All Whites forward Marco Rojas also said it was good to be back in New Zealand and that every time the team gets together, the aims of the team are more defined.

"I just feel like we have a system, we have a way that we play that the way we play, everytime we come into camp, we train and improve on that," claimed the Melbourne Victory player.

"I think the knowledge that we have, the structure and our game plan we have now allows us to take the step forward."
