But this South African rugby fan has taken passion for his rugby team to the next level, burning his Springbok shirt in the fallout from the team's 20-18 loss to Italy on the weekend.
It's not just about the burning either. This rugby fan is filmed laying the shirt on the ground, pouring petrol on it and lighting it, attempting to send a very clear message to South African rugby that he is no longer a supporter.
After this, it's fair to say that message is pretty clear.
But you do have to ask whether a true fan would express their disgust for their team in such a uncouth way.
