The All Blacks Sevens have taken a must-win pool game over the USA 19-12 to keep their title hopes alive at the Singapore leg of the world series.
New Zealand raced to a 19-0 lead at halftime on the back of tries to Regan Ware, Kurt Baker, and Dylan Collier.
The USA fought back with two tries of their own in the second half but were unable to find the game levelling score which would've seen them advance at NZ's expense.
New Zealand will play South Africa tomorrow in the quarter-final.
