Sometimes people just get in your face, you want to be the bigger man and ignore them, but when they get right into your personal space that's when you have to act.
That's exactly what Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Antoine Bibeau did yesterday while playing the Montreal Canadiens during a rookie showcase tournament in London, Ontario, Canada
Canadiens rookie forward Will Bitten is seen deep within the goal crease, obstructing Bibeau's movement, who then shoves Bitten out of his way.
The forceful manner in which he does so takes down his opponent to the ice.
The nature of his action was aggressive, and while Bibeau appears to be penalised for it, he may argue that it was worth it.
In ice hockey, goalies can clear their crease of traffic as long as there's no intent to injure. In this case, it looks like the referee believed there was some malice.
