Barcelona's front three combined brilliantly once more as they dismantled Argentinian side River Plate 3-0 to take out the FIFA Club World Cup in Yokohama.

Superstar forward Lionel Messi was a threat throughout the game, and he opened the scoring when Neymar nodded Dani Alves' cross into his path for him to shoot past the keeper from six yards out.

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was next on the scoresheet, running onto a wonderful ball from Sergio Busquets and firing between the goalkeeper's legs.

The Uruguayan then sealed victory in the 68th minute, clipping in a header from Neymar's pinpoint cross.

Suarez was undeniably Barcelona's star of the tournament, his two goals in the final meaning he had five goals from two games, after notching a hat-trick in the semifinal with Guangzhou Evergrande.
