Daniel Sturridge has scored twice as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 to reach the quarter-finals of the English League Cup.
Sturridge struck in each half to give the hosts a 2-0 lead at Anfield.
Tottenham pulled one back through Vincent Janssen's penalty in the 76th minute but were unable to find an equaliser.
In other Cup action, Arsenal beat Reading 2-0, Hull City won 2-1 at Bristol City and Newcastle crushed 10-man Preston 6-0, while Leeds and Norwich are playing extra-time level at 1-1.
