Emirates Team New Zealand are one win away from America's Cup glory after claiming victory over Oracle in race 11 this morning.
Team New Zealand protected the left side of the course at the start and held the advantage leading out.
The Kiwis maintained their lead heading around the first mark by a slim three second margin.
The two teams were evenly matched on the down wind leg and some slick work around mark two from Oracle closed the gap between the two boats.
Team New Zealand's lead grew as they made their way to mark three; a healthy 17 seconds gain had been made.
Oracle again hit back on the next leg and as the Kiwis battled to get on their foils, Oracle gained some ground.
However, Team New Zealand had done enough and claimed a 15 second victory to go 8-1 up requiring one win to claim the America's Cup.
