A Formula 3 driver was airlifted to hospital after an amazing crash which sent his car flying into the air.
Zhi Chong Li was airlifted to hospital after smashing into the back of Ryan Tveter's car and catapulting into the air.
Tveter's car had slowed down in a puff of smoke after spinning off the drag at the Red Bull Ring.
Li's car launched into a frightening barrel roll before Tveter's car was hit again by Pedro Piquet, who careered into the barriers.
It was later revealed that Li will require surgery for broken bones in his heel, as well as being diagnosed with four fractured vertebrae.
